Hi, I have one of the first UK Wii's and it does not seem to be asking like it should, its been softmodded and have version 4.2 software one it and when you switch the machine on you are agreeded with the bootmii screen, it then automatically selects the homebrew channel.

The problem I have is that if I select the main system menu, then select setting I am greeted with an opera explorer windows selling me that it has tried to access the following address.

MARC:EU/EU/Eng/index01/html which is currently unavailable.

Whats going on as I cant access the wireless settings either.

is there anything that I can do to totally restore my WIi back to original and then start the phone modding process again?

Yes. It appears that you have a sysmenu from a different region.

Install 4.2E using DOP-Mii and you should be fine.

    @The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.

    Many TBs of assets and the programming of something like that is going to be tough but I think it's something we might see in 20 years maybe sooner

    @Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero
