I came across a guide that I found to be very helpful to me. I have a fat psp ta-082 mobo and this concise guide helped me get it to 5.00 m33-3. I do not take any credit for writing the guide, I just found it.

It is the second post on there. I had 2.6 firmware at the time, so I had to actually upgrade to 2.71 then downgrade.
