Ok so I've spent the last hour seaerching how I should go about doing this and I still feel unsure about this since last I did any wii hacking was a while ago. So currently my firmware is 3.2u, the wii is ntsc, and I can play backups fine with gamma.

Since I plan to go play newer games (such as wii sports resort when it comes out), I want to upgrade to neogamma. I've found two guides (http://www.yafaze.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=1178&p=9923#p9923) and (http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=168890). Now since the first guide is for virgin wiis, I'm not entirely sure if there'd be any conflicts with the IOS or the CIOS I have, especially since I don't remember which ones I have installed. As for the second guide, correct me if I'm wrong, but I should start from the header "Backing up your NAND" and follow from there?

Oh yeah, and at some point, should I be upgrading my firmware at all through the wii system update or leave it as 3.2u?

Thanks for any advice or sorry for any frustration, lol. [IMG]
