Hacking Upgraded to emuNAND 9.6 by accident... Help please.

I wasn't aware 9.6 ruined emuNAND, I read that I have to reformat my emuNAND, however what does that mean for my saves and stuff?

Is it better to wait until Gateway team fix it in a new update or redo my emuNAND now?

If you are on o3DS you can boot 9.6 emunand with rxTools and from there back up your saves with the built in save backup. It works like classic mode though so no roms or homebrew.

just backup all your SD contents, format emunand and copy them back on, if you had your sysnand and emunand linked it will be fairly painless, just install any cia files again and all your saves should be fine.....if you didnt play games as cia, thats even better as you can simply copy all the .sav files off your SD format emunand and continue as normal.....if you unlinked emunand & sysnand and you played all/most of your games as .cia, it will be much more complicated to recover your saves

It might not happen for the n3ds, but they really should have released for old 3ds weeks ago. They seem to be delaying 9.6 emunand on old 3ds while they try to get it working on new 3ds. I guess so that they don't have different levels of support on each.

I feel like they knew 9.6 was coming out soon, and just released what they had so that people could transfer their NNID over, and get as up to date as possible at 9.5. It's been nearly a month, so I don't think they're actually doing the "let's release whatever we have now" approach.
