Hardware Upgrade o3DS with n3DS WiFi board possible?

I don't think it will make a difference, the N3DS and O3DS use the same Wi-Fi protocols. The only difference is that the N3DS has a faster processor, so it can process downloaded packets faster.

Both the O3ds and N3DS use lower end wireless G cards, if you can switch them the performance will be around the same. If the N3DS had a wireless N card instead it would have been faster assuming swapping it would have worked, which it would not in that case.

The N3ds wifi chip is soldered right to the motherboard, so good luck with that.
