Hacking Updating Wii Shop

Hi

I have a Wii 4.0E with Homebrew Channel and Bootmii (on boot2).
I don't want to update to 4.2, but I want to access to the shop to buy wiiware\vc games and download channels.
How can I update only the Shop? (I installed the HBC yesterday

)

How much time is downloading and installing the Shop?
Are there new functions in the mii channel? (It can be updated, so I hope there are new hairs\eyes\etc.)
