Updating stuck :/

    Hey guys, just downloaded - eledeeds, burned on sony dvd-r, put it into a console, it asked for update, ive clicked yes, so it started updating, but its like stuck @ 99%'s :/ I'm pretty scared if it wont brick my console, its like from 10 minutes, ive already done update from ssx blur. Anyone know what to do?!

    The only thing you can do if its stuck is hit the reset button. Not much more you can do... [​IMG]

    Well i decided to pres eject button. Thanks God my wii isnt bricked, it gave me 'update failed' msg, looks like i need to make up of soft via internet.

    I would highly recommend checking for updates before playing a new backup. After the whole paper mario situation, its better to be safe than sorry [​IMG]

    the reason it failed to install will be a disc error. iv had the same problem and tryed another disc and its worked. i had the same problem with the ps3 with genuine games failing to update. it may only be a finger print on the disc.

    i had the same problem with SPM after the 3rd try it updated completely

    I made sure my PAL-UK Wii had the latest firmware (2.2E for me) BEFORE I installed my Wiikey/tried backup games. I'd suggest everyone do this, to eliminate the possibility of *bricking* your console. Better to be safe than sorry [​IMG]

    i updated my console with a wiifree from 2.1 to 2.2 without any problems the only problems were the problem with SPM but when i activated wiiconnect24 the updated was finished
