A friend has a PAL wii I've been meaning to soft-mod for a bit but never got around to. It's version 3.2 if memory serves. Anyway he's just gotten Wii Sports Resort and it wants to update to 4.1. If he does is it still possible to use the twilight hack afterwards and if not is there any way to use motion plus without the update?

it is better and faster to softmod now (install the HBC and any cIOS) and then update to 4.1, anyway the game has the 3.4 update and it is still possible to softmod using the TwilightHack it takes only one or two more steps to install a cIOS, but if he decides to go for the online update and get 4.1 on his Wii, bannerbomb (the latest hack) can still softmod the Wii, although you need more steps to install the cIOS, still......it is all possible....!! WM+ work with sysmenu < 4.1 like 4.0 and i think it work with 3.2 if you add the IOS for every game.
The 4.1 update fix a bug with the video and it doesn't add a function for WM+.
