So, when I try to update either Terraria or ACNL (the only ones who need an update), I launch then and then it gets stuck on the 3DS loading screen (the one that appears in every app you launch). I have tried to repair the two games through the eShop, but it still doesn't work. Launching through FBI doesn't work either, although it works on HANS (because it doesn't load any updates).

I have no idea what to do right now. My system is an Old 3DS 11.2.0-35 with SysNAND CFW (A9LH + Luma3DS).

Well you practically gave the answer to your own question. Delete the updates and see if it works. If it does, then after, redownload the updates from eshop and see if it stays that way.

Forgot to add that xD Deleting the updates make the games work again. Redownloading still gives the same problem.

Hmm, that sure sounds weird. What patches do you have enabled on Luma? Does turning any of them on or off change anything?

I have the default patches of the A9LH Guide:
  • “Autoboot SysNAND”
  • “Use SysNAND FIRM if booting with R”
  • “Show NAND or user string in System Settings”
ATM I'm testing my SD card for errors, so I can't boot those games or change the settings right now.

On another note, every other game works normally. In fact, I recently downloaded Super Mario Maker and updated. It works normally.

Hum. Looks like I had this option turned on:
  • “Enable loading external FIRMs and modules”
Turning it off made those games work again. Thanks for asking me of the Luma configs!!

You're welcome man, I was AFK for a while, but glad it fixed the issue!

I think that's why I focus on just enjoying single player experiences that aren't too competitive

    How are you doing?

There's also this thing where I'm hyperfocused at night and cannot get to sleep.

    @Maximumbeans, I'm doing alright, thanks.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.

It was like all clear and fancy. Tbf I'm not too experienced with chess, but would like to learn someday.
