Hacking Updating from a9lh to b9s question

If i switch from a9lh to b9s do i have to reinstall all the apps and games?
Also is there any point in changing if everything is working fine now?

No you won't lose anything at all, it's only updating your entry point.

And yes, there is a point because all current versions of Luma and most programs are written for Boot9Strap now, everyone has dropped support for A9LH.
Just because it works doesn't mean you shouldn't update.
