I have a 3ds xl on 4.5 that was always on 4.5 was never downgraded. Bought it years ago when gateway first came out. I want to have it on 9.2 to use the menuhax method instead with gateway. I really want to keep things simple as I'm not confident in installing any cfw or using sysupdater. I also know I can use retail cart SSB 9.2 to update. I'm wondering a few things:
If I use retail cart since my 3ds was always on 4.5 will there be an issue with the browser not working once it's on 9.2?
I can borrow a sky3ds and use SSB rom 9.2. Will this work? I haven't seen many posts about this but if it works wouldn't it be the easiest method as you don't have to install anything?
