I helped my friend hack his WII last year using cIOS36_rev6. Yesterday I just knew his son updated it to 4.0U through Nintendo online. Then he deleted Homebrew through WII channel management because he thought it's useless! Fortunately I installed Backup Launcher 0.3 gamma Channel through WAD and he didn't touch that because he needs it to run backup discs. Finally he moved the WIIWARE games I installed for him to SD card and of couse they couldn't run.

Now I knew it's unavailable to install Homebrew on 4.0 yet. To run the WIIWARE games, I need to patch IOS60. Do I need to get a disc with WAD Manager or something else to install cIOS36_rev9 and IOS60patch and even Homebrew? Any solutions right now? Thanks.

Make a IOS downgrader and AnyRegion Changer discs, and boot them through the backup channel to downgrade?
