Isn’t ChoiDuJourNX bricking systems updating to 10.0.3 using sxos 3.0.0. I’m sure I read somewhere it’s not safe yet.....update: that’s with the sx core I believe.
Dude best thing to do is just make another emunand.

As I said earlier, the fix is to use an SD card that is formatted as FAT32. That means you have two options:
  1. Reformat your SD card as FAT32 (recommended)
  2. Use a different SD card that's on FAT32 to reinstall the update, this time choosing the exFAT option

Nintendo doesn't intentionally brick consoles.

After it took forever to transfer my files i was ablte to test this solution but it didnt work out :( I transferred all my files, then reformatted my card to FAT32 and transferred all the files back to the SD. When i try to boot into SXOS Menu it doesnt work. The SXOS logo comes up for a few seconds. Then the screen turns black and stays black. Before that i came into SXOS Menu and couldnt boot custom FW. Now i even cant boot into SXOS Menu. As longer as i think about it im affraid i didnt choose exFat in ChoiDujour. But the mentioned solution doenst seem to work :( Has anyone another idea? Or knows why this solution doesnt work?

What did you use to format the SD card? Are you sure it's FAT32?

Is your CFW up to date?

I used a tool called "FAT32 Format" and my SD shows its FAT32 now.
Things you can try:
  1. Use guiformat to format your SD card
  2. Use a different SD card
  3. Make sure your CFW is up to date.
You don't need to keep restoring the contents of your whole SD card each time while you're troubleshooting.

If I were you, I'd wipe the SD and start from scratch with freshly downloaded CFW files. That way, you can eliminate variables while troubleshooting. For example, if you get it to boot successfully and then it stops working after you restore your old SD files, then you know the problem is with your old SD files.

I also can't really help with SX OS, since it's trash. In principle, the latest version should work just fine for you.

Okay thats weird. I think it seems that something damaged my SD-Card. It seems to work fine. But i reformatted it with guiformat and it still wont work. Even if i try to start everything from scratch. I tried another SD card from scratch and was able to boot into custom FW. I really dont know whats wrong with the SD and sadly its my only SD this size, but i guess buying a new SD is cheaper than buying a new Switch. So thank you all! Maybe someone has an idea how to fix my SD but more than reformatting isnt possible i guess? Hmm. I guess ill buy another card and start on that one from scratch. Thank you all!!!

Out of curiosity, what all did you put onto your old SD card the last time you tested it? In other words, did you download everything from scratch?

Yeah i downloaded everything from scratch. I just reused my old license file for SXOS. Everything else was fresh.

you only need 2 files, boot.dat (sx os 2.9.5 or 3.0) and license.dat
try format your microsd to fat32 then only put those 2 files and see what happens

After reformatting the card using guiformat and starting with everything fresh it worked. Thank you all. I just have two more questions:
For some reason everything is WAY slower than before i had those problems. The custom FW takes WAY longer too boot. On top of that the screen turns black before its done and i have to press the power button once to get into starting menu. Thats new. On top of that ALL loading times and everything in system menu is WAY slower. Does Anyone know what might be the reason and how to fix this?

Second Question: It seems that i lost all my save datas (obvious cause i erased the whole SD). But i still have my old "Emutendo" Folder. Just copying it to the SD doesnt seem to work. Is there a way to recover my old saves from that data? Or are they lost forever?

Thank you all that my switch is working again!!

the first boot might be slower than usual, I only noticed that after a new firmware update

as for the save files, it should be still in the emunand if the emunand is hidden, not sure about file based emunand
