I was looking around the net for some time for an updated channel version of some emulators, only to find it fairly difficult. For those of you interested in these wads, I will post updated versions of them below, to present.

I have not changed, altered, or created any of the original banners made for the original wads, I have merely updated the emulator packed to the newest release. (updated SMSPlusGX and GenPlusGX wads were nowhere to be found, so I updated a few old ones i had). Enjoy

VisualBoy Advanced GX (VBAGX 1.02) : http://www.sendspace.com/file/eijjif

FCEUltraGX (2.0.3c): http://www.sendspace.com/file/okmijw

Snes9xGX (r005): http://www.sendspace.com/file/t83ttv

SMSPlusGX (1.3-8_26_08): http://www.sendspace.com/file/8w2fr8

GenPlusGX (1.2a-8_26_08): http://www.sendspace.com/file/1jv6zx

and for those of you who want a channel ready to go for the in-development Wii64 Emulator (r398): http://www.sendspace.com/file/ekn75d

<b>WiiEngine WAD channel DOWNLOAD</b>
<a href="http://www.mediafire.com/?kjgmtznmxum" target="_blank">http://www.mediafire.com/?kjgmtznmxum</a>

DOWNLOAD CHANNEL VERSION AND HBC VERSIONS HERE READ THE READ ME FILE BEFORE POSTING ANY QUESTIONS!:

<b>Features </b>* Support ROMs in .pce, .bz2 or .zip. formats. A .bz2 compressor is included in the program to convert the .pce files to .bz2. * Up to 4 controllers support, using 4 wiimotes with 2 assignment modes. The Inteligent mode assigns the controllers as they are switched on inside any of the menus (in the emulator only the HOME button works, if the controller wasn't previously assigned) depending on the order and number of controllers connected (i.e. controller 2 could be used for player 1 if there's only one controller connected). The Direct mode assigns the number of the controller directly to the number of the player. * Autofire support. * Configurable buttons. * Support capture/view screenshot in .bmp format. The screenshots are stored in "/roms/pcengine/img" directory. If this directory doesn't exist at the root of your SD card the emulator will create it automatically. The screenshots are incrementally named/numbered. * Support WRAM autosave. The game will store data in a .wra file when exiting or by pressing the RESET or POWER buttons on the Wii. This files are stored in "/roms/pcengine/saves" on the root of your SD card. * Support Savestate. Full support wich stores all game data (even CDROM), to be able to recover them directly (by loading the .sav from the "/saves/" directory) or from the configuration menu once the game is loaded. Saves are stored in "/roms/pcengine/saves" on the root of your SD card and they use bzip compression to reduce filesize. * PAL/NTSC video modes supported. Bilinear filtering for image improvement. * Support for PC Engine CDROM games in .iso and .toc. formats. * Include the PC utility "bincuesplit" is included in the archive to extract the data and audio tracks from a cue/bin CDROM image.
<b>
Installation </b>1. If your are using the Homebrew Channel you can just copy the wiiengine directory from the archive to the apps directory of the root of your SD card. If you are using another loader; use the bool.dol from the "wiiengine" directory.
2. Place you ROMs in the roms/pcengine directory or any sub-directory. The ROMs must be in .pce, .bz2 or .zip format. There's a limit of 512 files per directory. 1. For CDROM Game look at WiiEngine#CDROM_Game 3. Launch the emulator by the loader you are using.

ALL are injections with the exception ofhermes Wii Engine Channel (I made that banner myself and you can see it running on my wii in the video above) So these are all tested....just want to be clear on that ahead of time...

SNES9x GX is a Super Nintendo emulator for the Wii based on the PC emulator SNES9x 1.51. SoftDev is responsible for the original SNES9x 1.51 GameCube port, whose work was continued by crunchy2. Wii support was added by michniewski, and SNES9x 1.51 was ported by Tantric. The project is currently being maintained by michniewski and Tantric.

Features

* Based on Snes9x 1.51 - superior ROM compatibility
* Wiimote, Nunchuk, Classic, and Gamecube controller support
* SNES Superscope, Mouse, Justifier support
* Cheat support
* Auto Load/Save Game Snapshots and SRAM
* Custom controller configurations
* SD, USB, DVD (requires DVDx), SMB, GC Memory Card, Zip, and 7z support
* Autodetect PAL/NTSC, 16:9 widescreen support, filtered/unfiltered video modes
* Turbo Mode - up to 2x the normal speed
* Zoom option to zoom in/out
* Open Source!

Setup & Installation

Unzip the archive. You will find the following folders inside:

* apps - Contains Homebrew Channel ready files (see Homebrew Channel instructions below)
* executables - Contains Gamecube / Wii DOL files (for loading from other methods)
* snes9x - Contains the directory structure required for storing roms, saves, and cheats (see below)

Via Homebrew Channel

The most popular method of running homebrew on the Wii is through the Homebrew Channel. If you already have the channel installed, just copy over the apps folder included in the archive into the root of your SD card.

Remember to also create the snes9x directory structure required. See above.
ROMS, Preferences, Saves, and Cheats

By default, roms are loaded from "snes9x/roms/", saves and preferences are stored in "snes9x/saves/", and cheats are loaded from "/snes9x/cheats/".

Your SNES rom images must be in the Super Magicom (SMC) or FIG format. Generally, all images you find will be in this format, but if you run across one that isn't please download RTOOL which will allow you to convert the image into SMC format. Cheats must be placed in the cheats folder and named identically to the ROM name, except with a CHT extension.

On the Wii, you can load roms from SD card (Front SD or SD Gecko), USB, DVD, or SMB share. Note that if you are using the Homebrew Channel, to load from USB, DVD, or SMB you will first have to load Snes9xGx from SD, and then set your load method preference. To load roms from a Windows network share (SMB) you will have to edit snes9xGX.xml on your SD card with your network settings, or edit s9xconfig.cpp from the source code and compile. If you edit and compile the source, you can use wiiload and the Homebrew Channel to load and play Snes9xGx completely over the network, without needing an SD card.
Network support

Using Snes9x via network requires that your Wii is configured on your wireless network, and that you've set up a file share. Tutorials for setting up a file share in Windows XP and Windows Vista are available. Using SMB support requires that you provide a username, password, share name, and IP address to log in to the file server (in snes9xGX.xml). This XML file is created for you upon first loading the emulator and entering/exiting Preferences. If you have problems using just a username, you can try appending a workgroup name. You can use a bogus workgroup, but some functions may perform better if the workgroups match between client and server. Here's an example snippet for your XML configuration file:

DOWNLOAD SNES GX 006 PACKAGE:
http://www.mediafire.com/?mezunmxqugz

FCE Ultra GX is a modified port of the FCE Ultra 0.98.12 Nintendo Entertainment system for x86 (Windows/Linux) PC's. With it you can play NES games on your Wii/GameCube. Version 2 is a complete rewrite based on code from SNES9x GX.
Installation

Features

* Wiimote, Nunchuk, Classic, and Gamecube controller support
* iNES, FDS, VS, UNIF, and NSF ROM support
* 1-4 Player Support
* Custom controller configurations
* SD, USB, DVD, SMB, GC Memory Card, Zip, and 7z support
* NES Compatibility Based on v0.98.12
* Sound Filters
* Graphics Filters (GX Chipset, Cheesy and 2x)
* NES Zapper support

* If you are using the Homebrew Channel just copy the apps directory from the archive to the root of your SD card. If you are using another loader use the executables/fceugx_wii.dol.
* ROMs & saves files should be stored in fceugx/roms and fceugx/saves on the root of you SD card, USB flash drive, or SMB share. You can copy the fceugx directory from the archive to your support drive.
* Launch the emulator using your Loader.

Loading Games
From DVD or Windows Network Share (SMB)

* ROMs can be burned to a DVD-/+R (4.7GB max size & ISO 9660 file format) but you need to install the DVDx on your Wii. More infos on HackMii.
* To load roms from a Windows network share (SMB) you will have to edit FCEUGX.xml on your SD card with your network settings, or edit fceuconfig.cpp from the source code and compile.

Network support

Using SMB support currently requires that you provide a username and password to log in to the file server (in FCEUGX.xml.) This username must contain a workgroup name or else logins will not be possible. You can use a bogus workgroup, but some functions may perform better if the workgroups match between client and server. Here's an example snippet for your XML configuration file:

FDS Games

To be able to load FDS games, FCE UlraGX need the FDS BIOS. Put it in your roms folder, and name it disksys.rom (should be 8 KB in size).

You can switch disks using the A button (by default). The mapped button can be changed under Controller Configuration ('Special' button).

Compatibility is limited, so check that the game in question works on FCE Ultra 0.98.12 for Windows before asking for help.

Both Wads Have Been FULLY TESTED a video can be found of them @ youtube and at the top of this post...

or have not as much spare time as us...dont CARE to learn...Maybe just arent confident enough yet to use the tool....dont be so negitive guys...you dont have anything nice to say then leave it be (normally thats what i do unless i see some cocky know it all)....dont be pissy because you know how to use a tool and they dont...djdynamite123 i could copy and paste a whole thread of you doing this...please just have a thought about others...SO it takes 3 seconds to inject a dol THEY KNOW...I KNOW....YOU KNOW.....so why be a prick about things? really?....

why not help save your self from the NOOB QUESTIONS you so often respond to with an asshole remark to and help them! like Forsaekn OR the other contributers!

(not being rude to other peers is a contribution in and of its self you dont make that easy with your foul comments)...

look i dont make people earn my respect...you have that from the get go....what you can do is earn some disrespect...thats a good way to go about it 2....i understand your a veteran of the forums but this does not mean it is OK to put someone down every chance you get because "this guy doesnt have a mod chip" or "i dont like what this guy is doing" ...maybe some people dont like what you do either....you prob dont like me now....thats life I guess but please do just try to not be so negitive because it only spawns frustration with your smartass remarks...period...

sorry...but who do you think you are? to judge? LOL

i dont know, that is true and i dont feel like messing around with it when there's someone already here who is OFFERING to do it. I could learn, i know that very well. but lately a lot of people like me who are new to this are being bricked by injected wads. i dont have the level of confidence to try to do it myself yet, and i definitely don't have 250 to drop on another wii right now. If it makes you feel better, i will learn eventually.

anyway, thanks vettacossx and thanks to the OP too

the channels are working greatt

np and thanks for your comment

this is exactly why i offer to do this so you know that the wad you use WAS tested and is safe...I would imagine that with what "happen" yesterday people will be INSISTING on a video of the channel running BEFORE they will install it...I THINK THAT IS WISE!
biggrin.gif

I wont EVER post a wad i have not tested as a courtesy to the end user...If i DO brick my wii I will have to get a new one...I UNDERSTAND THAT RISK (copy and paste those words to your sig and hold me 2 it if you like) Point is I will always test the wad and post a video of the wad working on my own console before i post it here...Also though i may be new to GBAtemp ..I am an experienced hacker in more than just the wiibrew scene a quick google of vettacossx and a scroll over the pages of results will show i have my credentials in order
tongue.gif

BEEN MAKING PSP THEMES FOR YEARS these ALSO can brick your psp but i have NEVER in years of creation had anyone report ANY problems with my releases... whats that you say? my grammar? yeah i got plenty of grief over that though...hahaha I know that my grammar is bad
