Hacking Update wii?

Hi guys,

Been searching but found nothing so far.

Wii (PAL 4.2 cFG loader) saying update is available. Is there a safe way to update as the shop wont work until i do. Will this brickk the wii????

You can use a certain homebrew (I think it's WiiSCU) to update the Shop Channel and nothing else, to get around the new update that blocks the HBC. I did this myself and it worked perfectly. Of course, my Wii is a NTSC one, so I'm not sure iif the same will work for you.

Updating isn't recommended atm.
If you need the Shop channel that badly, you can use WIISCU or DOP-SHOP to get the newest shopping channel without updating the wii.
You can also manually install the newest shopping channel + IOS61 with wad manager/DOP-Mii.
