I have been trying to solve this for months, and now finally getting smart and asking for help. I installed ios51 and the wii shop update that went with it and for a while everything worked, now I am told I need another update to 4.0 but for risk of losing hbc I need to install ios61. Anyway I used the download for Tona and there are so many files that I don't know if I have them in the right place in the sd. I put the build, data, and source files in applications folder, and in the root of the sd put boot.dol, make file, and copying. But I have just tried to figure it out on my own because I don't understand all the technical homebrew words, I need someone to tell me in lamens terms. Please someone tell me if I did that right, and how to install ios61 and get the wii shop working.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP - I want to use my new wiispeak set for the game coming out The Conduit and for Animal Crossing

Bik75 I appreciate you trying to help me, and the guide and all but only one of your links work. The only one that I was able to download the file was the link megaupload, the rest said webpage cannot be found. Also if you could be so kind to give me working links for those downloads, in your steps you never told me what to do with the files. All you said was a series of creating new folders in the apps folder, so why would I need to download the files if that is all I do. Im sorry if I misunderstood, Im trying hard to understand all this, I really don't know where you guys learned to do all of this. Anyway if you could give me some links that work and explain simply what to do with each of the downloaded files I would appreciate it very much. Thanks!

bik75 first let me say thankyou! You have been the only one to attempt to help me, yet I went to where you got the guide and he has the same directions as you posted. I can't get past the 1st step, i rename the file and download the files and it tell me to install with wad intstall. But there is a problem its not a .wad file its a .dol file, I mean do I edit to .dol at the end and then install with wad installer? He never tells me what to do with each of the files, am I supposed to install them all with wad installer app? I don't know what did you do to make it work? What did you do with the files, did you rename them, can you do that? Please help me out man, this is sooo frusturating! Thanks!

Even though it is not a wad file, I am pretty sure you can still install it using wad manager
