Homebrew Update: 10.6.0-31 Homebrew Status

So it's safe to say, there are no free homebrew entrypoints on 10.6? The only routes are Cubic and OoT? Oh boy, if only they didn't require the latest firmware to be online

Wait for the OOT3D nintendo selection reprint that will release during this year and grab it while it's hot (and cheap!).

does anyone know of any downgrade programs that work for this? I can still get into homebrew but I cant seem to find a downgrade program that works with the new update even though I have the right .cia files. If anyone knows of a sysupdater/dongrader that works plz let me know!

Look up on google "larbob builds sysupdater". Literally the first thing that comes up.

I have an Old 3DS, 9.2 sysNAND, and 10.6 emuNAND. I installed the Homebrew Launcher .cia file to my emuNAND's Home Menu before updating, but when I load it now, it fails. Is there any reason for this? Is there any fix to this?

Before updating the EmuNAND?

It needs a new payload. Download this and put it in your SD card. (this is the new payload for 10.6 and is targeting to boot "bhbl.3dsx" which is included there)

Yes, I updated, no I'm not stupid, I just only care about homebrew to the point of emulators and save editing. Plus, menuhax with fixed with path editing in the theme shuffle, so that should be possible for yellows8 to reverse engineer. Anyway, here's the status of homebrew from personal testing and gathered information:

ENTRY POINT EXPLOITS:

Browserhax= DEAD on 10.6 firmware. All systems, no exceptions, etc.

Menuhax= DEAD on 10.6 firmware. All systems, no exceptions, etc.

OoT3Dhax= WORKING on 10.6 firmware, with updated payload.

Ninjhax= WORKING on 10.6 firmware, with updated payload.

Smashhax= WORKING (most likely) The update didn't contain a patch for this, but honestly it's the least convenient method of homebrew thus far, even worse than browserhax, so nobody really uses it unless an emergency arises. (Ex: exploits being closed off, etc.)

RxTools= WORKING

NTR CFW 3.3= WORKING

NTR Plugin= WORKING (Confirmed on Gateway & ReiNAND)



(Working Emunands means that when you update the Emunand itself to 10.6 firmware, it works. I don't know why you would have an emunand on the latest sysNand in the first place, but okay.)

I just bought a Select Oot3D($19.99) will OoT3DHax still work on the latest Firmware(2DS)?
And if so does that means I dont need to Downgrade to install the Homebrew Launcher?
