Ya, since you still have browserhax, you can setup oothax and be much safer
Theres just legit one thing i have menuhax , and you have to press L to get in the hax right ? Not for me , i alway get lauched into it , except im spamming L like carzy then i get into home menu... And hopefully oot3d goes up in price like ninjahax xD 120$ are worth it foe me xD

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Ok have it installed xD (LEGIT BETTER I THINK), but why should they be able to turn off browserhax and menuhax on 10.5?

Well you can always buy a sky3ds. Then you have 2 exploit games in one. Perhaps more in the future.

So if my friend wants to install homebrew on 10.6 (from scratch) what's the best (or only) way he can do it?

I did Ninjhax on mine so I'm not very familiar with the others :(

ninjhax, once the payloads are updated. Or, OoT3DHax if he has powersaves/you install it for him (once again, once the payloads are updated)

Install oothax with 10.5 payload using the hacked 3ds and then, use the game to boot homebrew in the non-hacked one

edit: ninja'd :ninja:

Most unique thread ever.
Not a single other thread like it for 10.6.

Oh, my bad.
There's three others.
http://gbatemp.net/threads/update-10-6-menuhax-is-now-blocked.415964/
http://gbatemp.net/threads/new-update-10-6-0-31-out-now.415956/

I'd honestly stop trying to get these people to stop.
1. No one reads the rules. It's obvious that they aren't going to either.
2. There's no need to even worry about the 3DS section. It's gone to shit. There's literally like 5 threads for each individual topic.
--------------------
By the way, this is the first thread I've seen based on 10.6, so thank you, @Pikm for informing us on this! :D

Do the 10.5 payloads work on 10.6 for OoT3Dhax (or ninjhax)?
I'm not sure, but you'd better be safe and update the payloads anyways. The native_firm wasn't changed at all, they just blocked browserhax and menuhax. So technically, the 10.5 payloads should work.
