Last month might have been a little on the quiet side, but September is gearing up to offer some heavy hitters. Both PlayStation and Nintendo have a major releases scheduled for September, with enough third-party variety to likely pique your interest if those aren't enough for you. Will you be playing any of these when they launch?

For those that never got to play the fan-translated version, the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection will be a great way to officially jump into that spinoff series. Any Zelda game is reason enough for hype--a hopeful treat for fans. Meanwhile, PlayStation 5 users appear to have what is the current highest-rated game that's come out this year, in the incredibly loved Astro Bot. Does anything in this lineup interest you, or will you wait for what October holds?

It's been properly supported since last November I think, with the catch being that it needs to be wired for full functionality. I imagine Sony made the effort with all the PS5 games they've been porting lately.

A little wired won't hurt a fly, but I still wished that the full functionality could be made without it being wired! But I am looking forward to Astro Bot on PC. I remember hearing a bunch of people saying that Astro's Playroom was an excellent launch title game for the PS5, but that's about it. Ik it's a launch title, but I do hope to see that one come on PC someday as well ..

Heccin' Zelda ftw

I've heard the Astro Bot game described as a Mario Odyssey clone, any thoughts from those who have played both? Haven't seen anyone go so far as to call it a bad game tho.

Are we gonna see an early leak of Zelda?
Yeah once the cartridges are in the retail supply chain it's inevitable, it won't be weeks early or anything tho.

Those lists would be nice. One other franchise that might be relevant is Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, which will officially release on the 12th this month, on Xbox, ps5, PC.

Though it's already in early access for a couple days and apparently off to a rather rocky start. Both due to the always online requirement, shitty servers, and no way to play in true single player mode unlike the previous two titles.

Yep, that online requirement has definitely made things worse for the game and the graphics don't seem all that good. It kinda looks like a late PS3 game? Maybe it looks a tad better in person, but with so many racing games out there there's no reason to play a game which restricts the customer to their demands.

I played it in the beta and it was fine. My biggest complaint are really only the online requirement (which isn't even a hard requirement as the game will run fine once logged in and connection has been severed), and that Hong Kong is pretty damn small.
Here's hoping pirates will release a crack that removed the online auth requirements, then I'll probably buy it and play it offline.

It actually happened to me multiple times during the closed beta that server connection was lost and the entire game ran perfectly fine, apart from starting races. Should be pretty easy to remove a few checks and tweak some others to just always fill the race roster with AI cars, as that also already exists to pad the number of participants if there aren't another 7 players trying to start your race at the same time.
Absolutely baffling that we're at a point where "wait for the pirates to make the damn game playable" is becoming the norm.

Hoping the same for The Crew 1 which seems to be a server in development to bypass the online-only bs requirement and that's for PC, but I wish someone found a way to patch the PS4 version, too.
