The only major thing that prevents some games from running is either a save problem (which can usually be fixed by using a different dma mode) and Anti Piracy which can now be fixed with a per game or global setting in akaio 1.8

The GBA auto saving will save neither there is any GBA expansion pack in slot-2. In situation that after playing GBA game, shutdown the system and put off GBA expansion, when there is no GBA expansion in slot-2 will lead to save blank save file over previous save file. I request autosave feature to detect the GBA expansion before saving GBA savefile.added to the new beta.

The Wood firmware incorporates a ROM intro remover as of the latest version. I would just like to formally ask for that code to be ported as an option to AKAIO if at all possible.

This has been added to 1.8.0 and will be available soon.

So if you have suggestions for AKAIO, post them on the forum! Even small tweaks like the option to disable icon pulsing came about from suggestions!

I'd like to be able to change organization of games from the AceKard instead of needing edit the .ini file on the computer. Also, there could be more ways to organization as games such as romcode, size, etc.

Well, go sign up and suggest? If they don' make it into 1.8 it'll likely be 1.8.1 or something (since those are comparatively smaller features).

how does gba mode work? i have a dsi xl and it dosnt have a gba slot? can i still play gba games? is it emulation? do i need to dldi patch it?

It works with a GBA slot on DS lite / Phat only.

You can't emulate GBA games with an Acekard 2 and never will.

How do they address AP on a per game or global basis? I mean they already have the loader updates which address these issues. I'm just curious how they are coming up with a 'generic' kind of anti-AP implementation, or am I just construing the comment wrong.

Might be something similar to an "on-the-fly" version of Rudolph's Child's Play Patcher (global) or an advanced set of options (per-game).
