That looks a lot like Mega Man 64. Is the Legends series related to it?

Megaman Legends originated on the PS1, and there was a port for it on the N64. The English release was renamed to Megaman 64.

Man, everything just went downhill after Mr. Inafune left Capcom.

Even then, Inafune must still have a role with Legends 3 development, as it was his idea of reviving Legends, anyway.
The whole servbot-open devlopment thing was to see how much use interest there would be and how much sales would this title generate, and due to lack of advertising, Inafune could not keep development running on Legends 3.

It was a very highly ambitious project, but lack of consumer awareness led to the downfall of Legends 3, not Inafune leaving Capcom.

That's not to say any blame can be shifted to the consumers.

That's cool and all, but isn't it Capcom's responsibility to raise consumer awareness through advertising?

It's like Crytek making Crysis 5 and not releasing any information or raising public awareness about it, and they go "Hey guys no one's interested, let's can the project."

Silly Capcom
