Looks nice, but I don't see any game-play "processing" being done in that video. Expect a drop in what the game engine is outputting when that is added in.

To be honest, I'm really am not that impressed. The whole thing was way too dark even though there was al ot of light sources. When they showed the robot crab thing from the alley point of view, you clearly see that it has a bright ass light, yet it only illuminates a few feet in front and around it.

That kind of light easily could have illuminated the whole block.
Personally Crytek engine 3 beats it. Now if you can mix Crytek 3's visuals with frostbite 2's destructibility then we have pure gold.

Also I hate how every single character in any game made with unreal engine 3 has unrealistically huge bodied characters. Gears I'm lookng at you.

Yeah because a new engine can help the gameplay of a game

Graphics or destructibility don't help the gameplay at all.

The Unreal engine is one of the most used engines around I think compared to a lot of other ones so youve most likely played an Unreal engine based game

Unreal 3 the game, not unreal engine 3 would be my guess.

It's probably that UE3.5 that they used for Bulletstorm.

edit: either that or they're showing off the UE4 engine which they weren't even apparently planning to use for another few years anyway.

Yeah because a new engine can help the gameplay of a game

But new engine means new games, new games mean possible new UT, new UT means they can create the old gameplay with new graphics

Yea its a default setting in the engine

All characters are HUGE
Its not like the designers have a choice in the matter...
