The Naked Lunch did it before South Park. I'm not going to say it did it first in history, "talking asshole" being such a very obvious idea but yeah, there's a vignette about a guy whose talking butthole gained sentience and took over. And it's not the most bizarre part of the book by a long shot.Isn't this a South Park episode?
The dungeons sucked, same with TOTKBut botw was peak
TOTK is a mid game

This is why it's so confusing, when deciding whether or not to play through BotW/TotK.To me, TOTK is worse than. BOTW.
You haven't already played botw? This is why it's so confusing, when deciding whether or not to play through BotW/TotK.
EDIT: I should note, that deciding whether or not to play a Zelda game is a good problem to have.
You won't know until you experiment for yourself. They're a divisive game among Zelda fans for sure, but many people liked them (especially the first game)This is why it's so confusing, when deciding whether or not to play through BotW/TotK.

I have had the opportunity to play a few moments of BotW on a friend's Switch, but I don't think it was enough to really make a conclusion on the game itself. That's why I have so much trouble deciding. You won't know until you experiment for yourself. They're a divisive game among Zelda fans for sure, but many people liked them (especially the first game)
BotW was a nice experience for me in the first few hours, so I had fun with it. But after the novelty effect wore off I never touched it again.
TotK follows the same formula and even uses the same Hyrule. Since I was already tired of it, I don't think I even played beyond 1 hour.
Good point. I really enjoyed it though. The glitches in the game doubled my enjoyment too,I have had the opportunity to play a few moments of BotW on a friend's Switch, but I don't think it was enough to really make a conclusion on the game itself. That's why I have so much trouble deciding.
It felt like "just another open world game(tm)", and I already have open world fatigue. I've requested reviews from gbatempers in the past, and they confirmed that the game is more open world than Zelda.
I know I need to try it for myself, but expecting another open world experience demotivates me.
Yeah, if we put money into the equation, there's a chance you might feel genuinely disappointed. See if you can play on that friend's Switch again xDI have had the opportunity to play a few moments of BotW on a friend's Switch, but I don't think it was enough to really make a conclusion on the game itself. I know I discussed this somewhere else on the forum. The general consensus was that Sonic Chronicles was not worth picking up, but the game does have its fans. The only bad thing about Sonic Chronicles was most of the music.
Speaking of Sonic, the fan "remake" of the 8 bit version of Sonic 1 ruins that version's charm and all that, even the fanmade commodore 64 port is better than it
