Especially pizza, if it's in there to balance saltier ingredients like salami etc. I made Filipino adobo (meat casserole) couple of weeks ago and pineapple was critical ingredient in that as well.

I get that, the problem is y’all used the wrong fruit to balance it, Pineapple’s just too sweet for me to be eating it on a pizza, it’s more so in your face if anything.
I would love to see what cucumber on pizza would taste like as that’s more tame in flavor, but still sweet
