Does anyone know if there is an unofficial firmware for the Supercard lite Rumble? A lot of my roms freeze after playing a while, and after I downgraded to an older firmware the roms are working a bit better but still not perfectly. So obviously, there is an issue with the firmware. I would appreciate any information on an alternative solution (such as AKAIO for Acekard).

The only alternative firmwares ever made were hacks of the official one, and they're outdated so I wouldn't recommend them. They wouldn't do anything for commercial games anyway. The custom firmwares only added basic skin support and homebrew auto-loading, that's it.

Note that the AKAIO isn't really a replacement firmware at all. It's merely a replacement OS that runs on the stock Acekard firmware that's built into the chip itself. Most slot-1 devices work this way.

Pretty sure you can't use that on Supercard slot-2.

OK, I will try to solve the problem while using the official firmware. I am just curious regarding the acekard: does that mean if I buy a new acekard I should run the official software first so the firmware is upgraded correctly, and then copy AKAIO on the MicroSD card subsequently?

To be honest I'm not sure if the Acekard's firmware is even upgradeable. If it is, simply running the official Acekard OS probably won't do it.
