An unboxing of a GAME really should not be on the front page.

sorry haddad, but this is getting ridiculously funny

everyone knows it's just a game cartridge and the game manual

you should have just done the unboxing with the review at the same time on one video

The extra manual is the French Manual for our friends in Quebec. And yes Canada is a country and we don't live in igloos... I'm having fun with this game 3d set at mid strength is appropriate for the eyes I think.

This site is a joke sometimes.

Thousands of us already have our 3ds's and this game, I wouldn't bother with the reviews.

i agree, it doesn't need a review just a general discussion.

i never laughed so hard in my life. sure i could understand a review, or an unboxing of a Limited edition game like duke nukems balls of steel edition or prestige edition MW2. but this takes the cake for the most pointless unboxing video.

Actually there is a point. It's the first time a 3DS game gets unboxed at gbatemp. Noteworthy are the holes in the box [IMG]

First of all, a one sentence comment is not a "rant."

Maybe you don't care about the quality of or reputation of this site's front page, as you seem content to do whatever the fuck you want on video and post it up like we're supposed to give a shit, like you're doing a service to the community by bestowing this majestic gift upon us. Shit like this is just degrading, and pushes down the real news below the fold.

I haven't watched any of your other videos, but if they're like this I don't know why Costello doesn't find someone else to do it. It's not like its difficult.

for a good laugh. i didn't believe you actually went with it and unboxed a game to show everyone that it's practically no different from any other ds game. well besides the french booklet. that just gives me the idea that someone already opened it and tried to reseal it.

Think whatever you want, but my videos are not bringing down the site's reputation by one bit. I do not think why u think it is. [IMG]

Because it diminishes the site's identity, the site's brand.

GBAtemp is a hardware hacking/homebrew/pirate community, and as such to some extent strives to be a source for news in regards to such. Worthless videos like this dilute the stream of news which is actually relevant to the community, making GBAtemp less viable as an actual source for such news. When you look at the news stream and see some kid make a video unboxing a generic game, you think twice about checking the feed next time.

Don't take this the wrong way, but its pretty clear you have no training or legitimate experience in vocal work or video editing.

Not to mention a half-decent video camera. Are you using your phone?

It really gives the appearance of "some random kid was bored and had some free time." Which there is plenty of in this community.
