I would like to get an unbiased opinion on some DSi flash cards but it is difficult at the moment because DSi Flash card owners are having an love affair with the DSTWO Flash Card

I would like to know just for the record, in your opinion which of the M3iZero,DSTWO is best for DS Games and which of the iPlayer, DSTWO is best for GBA Games

I don't own a DSi, nor do I care to, so I feel I am qualified to give an unbiased opinion.

The way I see it, you really only have 2 choices, the SCDS2 or the AcKard2i. SCDS2 can emulate GBA games and bust most AP with its extra CPU, plus has a legendary support team. AceKard will only play DS games and homebrew, but is inexpensive.

While some variations of R4 could be considered because of Wood firmware, I personally wouldn't buy one because you would be reliant solely on an outside source for compatibility updates and not the people who made the card. To a lesser extent, the same can be said about the AceKard, truth be told.

I only have a DSlite, but since the CycloDS team has apparently cut-and-run, if I was to buy another flashcart, it would be an SCDS2 without even a second thought.

And that's my honest opinion.

DSTWO on both counts. There really isn't anything special about the M3i, the DSTWO does everything the M3i does. Supercard are also very active, for the DSTWO they created a workaround for DSi firmware 1.4.1 in under a day.

As for the GBA, given that both the iPlayer and DSTWO are made by Supercard there isn't going to much difference. They seem to update the DSTWO first though, so i'd go for that. The DSTWO pretty much makes the iPlayer redundant.

I've always wanted to try the M3 Zero, but since I've never used one I don't have an opinion on it
I'm still gonna buy a M3 Zero soon, just to try out sakura

the dstwo is the best at playing games
the only game that ever gave me any problems is castlevania portrait of ruin..it freezes sometimes
other than that, it runs all 300 plus roms I have in my 16 GB micro sdhc, with no problems

as for GBA they are very similar if not the same, so it's a tie between the two

Personally, I would go for the SCDS2.

I currently have an Acekard 2i, which, I have to say, i'm very happy with.

I am however thinking about buying an SCDS2, mainly for the GBA games.

And somebody can correct me if i'm wrong, but I think they're working on getting avi's playing on it.

I have an Ak2i mainly because it is the one a buddy sells.

I have no complaints it runs everything I want it to run.

I doubt he would be selling the Ak2i if it had no merits.

Granted he is also selling the new R4 as well. And it wouldn't be worth his time if it had no value.
