Hacking Question Unable to run ZBTW on atmosphere

Hi all,

I don't know why i'm not able to run Zelda Breath of the Wild on atmosphere v0.8.3. I downloaded the nsp, installed throught goldleaf, but the game fails to pass the first screen, then it shows an error.

I also have tried to run the cartridge but happen the same thing.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

Thank for the answer, yes I already got those. The only game is giving me problem is zelda!

just out of curiosity; when you ran the cartridge, did you (remove/delete/uninstall) the nsp? if the nsp isnt there and the cartridge works, then the something went wrong with nsp.

Yes! tried both possibilities but the thing still there.

Hi, I had the sd in fat32, and I thought that the exfat was going to fix it, but sadly it wasn't the solution. Thanks for the answer

maybe.....save file corruption? can you backup your current save, remove it under system data and then see if the cartridge works?

In my experience, there's an install order with NSPs for that game. I would install the base game first, DLC1, DLC2, DLC1 update, DLC2 update. It could also be bad NSPs like some of the NSPs of Xenoblade 2 had.

Look into sdcard/atmosphere/titles/[BOTW Title ID] and delete the BOTW Title ID folder

I had the same issue (BOTW worked fine on ReiNX but not on AMS). As it turned out, one of the KIP/EXEFS patches I had was the root of the problem.

What I did is just back up my atmosphere folder, note down which patches were provided by AMS by default (as well as the sigpatches) and then disable everything else one by one until I found the culprit. I honestly can't remember exactly which one it was but it may have been a leftover by an old build.

anybody else found solution to this problem? i'm having same issue, i updated atmosphere from 0.13 to 0.15 and now only zelda botw game is stuck on loading black screen. all other games work fine, the ones i have ... also emuiibo overlay crashes switch

You need the appropriate patches for your appropriate bootloader.

remove the emuiibo folder if you have it....
