Gaming Unable to install v1.1.0 update for ARK Survival Evolved (SXOS v2.3 beta)

I've managed to install ARK Survival Evolved without any issues using SXOS v2.3 (beta) but when I try to install the v1.1.0 update it just fails and tells me that i may have a bad file. I have downloaded 3 different copies of the update but all fail.

Is it down to SXOS?

Mine works just fine. It might be your download of the update is a bad dump or corrupted one.

as we are on the topic how does ark look and run on switch especially in portable mode
