in 1.6.9 ive added `custom_name=` and `custom_version=` for renaming overlay / package entries within `/config/ultrahand/overlays.ini` and `/config/ultrahand/packages.ini`. This won't change the hard coded name on overlays, but users can use custom names for their displayed overlays / packages on the menu. It will however change the displayed name across the board for packages though. still working on a couple things before i release

This is exactly what I had in mind, just to mask the real name only for the looks/display purposes. Sweet Jesus, thank you so much for this!

It goes by the name of the entry in the .ini, so whatever you have your entry named as within android.ini.

reboot ini <NAME_OF_ENTRY>

or for duplicate entries

reboot ini <NAME_OF_ENTRY> <DUPLICATE_INDEX>

You can also add the entry directly into hekate_ipl.ini, then use the pre-loaded Reboot To command. (if missing, delete `/switch/.packages/package.ini`.)

I can't load OC Toolkit 1.4.0, it shows me a error and I need to reboot
I copy the folder in .packages. Is it the "u" zip? do I need copy loader.kip in other folder?

I recommend going to the 60fps discord page where B3711 currently posts the latest revisions of OC Toolkit / EOS for more help.

You need the kip installed properly, sys-clk EOS installed properly, and the package ini's placed in `/switch/.packages/OC Toolkit/`. The .zip for installing includes the hierarchy for the SD card that must be mirrored.

I recommend going to the 60fps discord page where B3711 currently posts the latest revisions of OC Toolkit / EOS for more help.

if you click Y on a Overlay / Package, you can make them hidden from the overlay/packages settings menu. Hidden is just an additional menu for overlays/packages that you dont want always showing.

That wouldn't really be an Ultrahand related topic imo. Not sure how one would go about that. Perhaps it is possible, but it would require something to be (or already) implemented in libnx that I personally am not aware of. You'd have to ask around to see if it can be done, or is being done elsewhere.

I got new version and the new gesture for getting ultra hand menu (swipe from the left to the right) only works for one time. Next time I can't show it. I need to reboot and then it works again but for one time

I’m trying and sometimes works and other not. The question is that only launch ultrahand with wipe gesture. I expect that works both option, hotkey and gesture. Isn’t it?

You can use the key combo in addition to the swipe gesture (both are enabled). It works well for me, but I’m using an OLED model; I haven’t tested it with any other screens. But i have heard from others testing it that it works well for them. It helps if you use your thumb, then do a smooth swipe from off the screen inwards. Cover a distance of a little over a centimeter and it should trigger.

I could potentially make the sensitivity (swipe duration and distance traveled) configurable variables so people can refine it more themselves, but I’ve found how it is currently setup to be a decent default configuration.
