Hacking Ultra Sun cia not going onto flash card

I'm a Mac user and I have an Ultra Sun cia. I tried everything else I could find. The cia is 3.4 GB and when I try to put it on my 32GB SD card, it says "The item 'Pokemon Ultra Sun.cia' can't be copied because it is too large for the volume's format." This should only be a thing when it's over 4GB iirc. Any help?

Well, it should definitely work. You should probably try using some other device or redownload the cia.
