hey i just wanted to find out if anyone could mod my wii in the uk. Guarantees with a mod would be nice but isnt needed i prefer wiikey or wiinja delux also i can supply the chip if you dont have one. Im located in Kent. could leave estimates of the price and how long it will take thanks

I am currently in that jewel of the north philipcooper although I have no tools with me that are up to the task and not that it really matters (I have soldered something to or to repair just about everything from a 386 upwards) but I have not chipped a Wii yet (actually I have not even played one yet). plexo's offer is pretty good though.

Hmm... £30 does sound a little dear... but then again, I know someone who chips Xboxes for a living and when I asked him if he could solder a PS2 chip if I gave him the chip, he immediately said no but he knows someone who can.... in Wales....

Philip, I sent mine off to a guy in Gateshead and he supplied a Wiikey, fitted it and sent it back Special Delivery for £55, top stuff. Check out WillieWonka at the Cheapmod.net forums mate

whats the difference between wiifree and wiikey is it just that you can update on the wiikey and on the wiifree you cant?

Gov did you check your PMs? My contact said northfleet is too far away but he can meet up with you somewhere, collect the wii and then fit the chip then return it to you later that day? The guys reputable so hes trustworthy, PM me back
