Ubisoft Press Conference - Ended
Apparently, I missed a great preshow. How sad.
Anyway, they opened up with a new South Park: Fractured, But Whole. Looks like it's going to be a Superhero game, which is a first for the series.
Yves Guillemot has come out on stage, to announce the nextDark Souls. Just kidding, it's called For Honor. Looks to be a melee multiplayer deathmatch kind of title.
Next up - The Division. Open world, has co-op gameplay, hunting for gear, and loot. Could this be the game I wanted to play? It definitely looks interesting! Release March 8, 2016.
Some celebrity cameos with Aisha Tyler and Jason Derulo. Not bad, I would actually have like to see them at the show, just for kicks.
Rainbow Six Siege is next, and looks to be very similar to what I saw at the Microsoft conference earlier today. I actually liked that title a lot - it looked good on screen and at the conference. Not the game I would say I am actively searching for, but even so, it looks good.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate - Another one! At this point though, it seems like they're churning them out too fast, and that feels a little concerning. We'll have to see where this pipeline goes. Will be playable at the show.
Finale reveal was Ghost Recon. Not really sure what to think here, though. The performance here felt kind of underwhelming and a definite disappointment compared to the beast that was Microsoft. Definitely a shame, because a lot of the really wanted titles were missing from the roster. And that's not a good thing. I'm just surprised there's yet another Assassin's Creed coming out so soon.
