Bought my switch mid last year also I did not update it. I hope that it can be jailbreak. Any confirmed news when this will be released? I am too excited to play the games I downloaded for the JB switch.

Because of this law we had to stop selling tx products and all other bypass copy protection hardware such as flashcards and so on.

Yup!! Great news! I've never saw the interior of a Nintendo Switch. But searching for "Nintendo Switch Teardown", I found a video that shows, step-by-step, how to disassembly the console. Comparing the video with these images, I see that the EMMC module will have to be disconnected from the Switch board and connected to the TX modchip. That black flat cable (top of the mod chip) most likely will be connected to where the EMMC module was used to be. Also, there seems to have an USB-A or USB-C in the bottom of the mod chip. I don't know if it's for programming purposes only or if we will need to "make room" in the Switch to have access to it after closing the console.
    This is so cool!!

Do you think it is easy to install or not (judging by the video and this photos) ?

Judging from photos cable clips into nand emmc slot and your nand emmc module clips into chip. Anyone that can open their switch will be able to install this.

    Looks completely solderless

I'm guessing Lite version needs chip re-design to fit

From what I see, the chip will be placed between the fan and the heat vent of the switch.
So the chip might be quite hot, and might increase the CPU temperature.
    Let's wait for me info.

The nand chip isn't modular so my guess is you'll need to solder to the points on the back of the board to access the emmc.(if they are using the emmc for the exploit.)

I believe it has said that all versions were going to be solderless, but solder is still recommended. Of course there hasn't been any "official" confirmations of any of this. Based on that pic though at least the Normal style Switch has a solderless version based on these pics.

Yes, it seems like we will just need to remove the EMMC module from the Switch board and attach it to the TX board. Then, I believe the TX board will be connected to where the EMMC board was. That's my guess based in the pictures.
