OBVIOUSLY. But it's not a traditional connectors scheme. Maybe the system will have some kind of accessories.same as lower one
think of psp accessories and it's top connectorOBVIOUSLY. But it's not a traditional connectors scheme. Maybe the system will have some kind of accessories.
This is what I want to assume, but if VR comes along, they might just be the same on both ends. The most important function is probably to be able to conveniently charge the battery in both tabletop and handheld mode.
I suppose both ports will normally support data transfer, so most accessories probably won't be electronically specific to just one of the USB-C ports. Aside from the dock, since I doubt it'd be economical to make the the top USB port support the full bandwidth needed for video display and all that stuff.
Hopefully at least one, ideally both, will have USB C PD.
The dock will be HDMI, TVs still don't do DP.Question, has it been leaked whether the console will come with a HDMI 2.1 or a DP 2.1 cable
Im thinking of getting a new monitor for pc and was going to use the DP for that, i have 2 monitors but was wondering for future config purposes
The TV out on the Switch is DP alt mode but as it whitelists only the official dock it only works with displays and docks that spoof the official dock. It's likely the Switch 2 will do the same.Oh you mean this: , just checked my future monitor and it says: "USB-C x 1 (DP Alt Mode)"
Cus the Switch 2 has 2 USB-C's, 1 will probably allow DP 2.1 functionality im guessing
sounds good
I'll use DP 2.1 for PC, USB-C for Switch 2!
IM HYPED!
