rxTools does not patch TWL_FIRM on n3DS. It doesn't have support for that in place yet. Sorry.

Should specify that I'm on an o3DS. Just put the EZ-Flash V on the "confirmed not working" list.

Check the CFW discussion section, cias are there.
And the launcher works on the patched N3DS TWL_FIRM. I just booted my old AK RPG with it.

What's the problem? Could be a conflict between your old and new versions of rxTools (when you do not delete the old files).
Also, I think the new releases are a little buggy with ctrboot.

Hmm no go for my Acekard 2i. Installed the patched TWL_FIRM on reiNAND n3DS and no icon or banner. Opening TWL Slot-1 Launcher just give me an error and to power off. I have not used my AK2i since my o3DS 4.2 bricked in November last year so someone else will have to confirm. I'm not 100% sure my AK2i died or just doesn't work.

Did you install my app to both emunand and sysnand (assuming you booted it from emunand). You have to make sure it's installed to both before it will start correctly from emunand.

I downloaded @Aurora Wright twlfirm_n3ds.cia from that iso site. I was able to install it with no problems using FBI. I could not install TWLSlot1Launcher.cia using FBI - it spit some error. however, I decided to go ahead and try my AK2i anyway and low and behold it worked! It immediately showed up as Dorasu and starts up like it used to!

Thanks to all those involved in making me a happier classic gamer! i'll be even happier if I can ditch the flash cart completely lol!

Sysnand does not need patched TWL_FIRM. Only emunand needs it since it boots the TWL_FIRM CXI from emunand. You don't have to touch the version of it on sysnand.

It's your card, I just got my ancient Acekard 2i working on my n3ds. I installed the patched TWL_FIRM only to emuNAND, then installed Apache's launcher CIA and it worked straight away.
