I just created a NDS Trimmer for Linux
It comes with a user friendly GUI

I made this program because I could not find a NDS Trimmer with a GUI
And I hate using terminal to do the job

Instruction:
There two ways of inserting the rom
1.Just drop it anywhere on the window
2.Click the button Open File and select the file

FAQ:
Q:Does it support multiple files
A:No, you have to insert one by one, but with dropping this goes quickly

Q:Will there also be a windows or mac release
A:Maybe

Q:What is it made with
A:Realbasic(Was a real pain getting from Visual Basic 6 to Realbasic)

Ooooo Linux! I just switched to linux... next time I need to trim a rom I'll give this a try!

Quick question, does it trim properly as to preserve download play?

I don't know actually
I used this method created by ShortFuse:
http://forums.ds-xtreme.com/showthread.php?t=1964

That method doesn't.
Doesn't it trim properly
Or doesn't it trim bad?
Negative or positive?
From what I can see, it will over trim some ROMs and cause Download Play and WiFi support to cease from working.
Oh, that's really a bad thing
I should look for some better script for use with my program
It's made pretty universal it will be easy to change the trim code
What about this one:

Won't be hard to implant this terminal app into my GUI

Hi guys, this trimmer worked fine on Ubuntu 10.10, but now I can't use it on Ubuntu 11.04 . It simply doesn't start, any tips?

I'm guessing you haven't read the date! It's three years old! Next time start a new topic if you have a problem, and don't post in 3year old topics.

Yes I read the date.
I don't get it, why should I open a new thread if the official one is already available? If we open other threads it makes only confusion imho...

Well at least we know he searched before making a new topic.
Download NDSTokyoTrim 2.18 and run it through wine, that works for me
