Transfer Saves from PS3 to PS1

The purpose of this tutorial is to convert saves from a virtual PS3 Internal Memory Card to a physical PS1 Memory Card, using a Windows PC and a PS2 with FMCB, without a PS3 Memory Card Adapter or DexDrive.

In order to complete this tutorial, a PS2 needs to run uLaunchELF to copy the save to the PS1 Memory Card. A USB storage device is also needed to copy the save from the PS3 to the PC to the PS2.

PS3 Internal Memory Card >> USB >> PC >> USB >> PS2 (FMCB) >> PS1 Memory Card

0. Download

1. PS3, XMB
  • Insert USB into PS3
  • Select: Memory Card Utility >> Internal PS1 Memory Card >> game icon +

While I agree, I also think the PS2 is the most accessible way for people to manage their PS1 memory card files. The PS3 memory card adapter is expensive, and the DexDrive stopped being manufactured decades ago. I think I'll remove the PS2 part if the Memcarduino is ever mass-produced.
sorry i dont understand.
i didnt know ps2 was right. i thought you typed ps2 instead of ps3 by accident lot of times.
