From what I've read, you're basing this on a few people's reports?

Have you contacted the dev? Seems wrong and dangerous to be suggesting in a tutorial, the complete opposite of what a developer actually recommends.

Well, I have patched files myself and everything is working fine.

Okay then. It's probably some oddity. I removed the part again as I was very sure myself that Luma pulls TWL and AGB from CTRNAND itself and then patches, so absolutely no manual patching needed anymore.

Really late reply but I literally just got around to testing it, my DS flash card works! No extra steps, I just moved the appropriate files onto and around my SD card, no modifications to sysnand.

I have a problem when I am using this guide, When ever I turn on my 3ds it doesnt auto boot to Emunand rather it boots to CTRBootManager then I have to hold my bypass menuhax buttons to get to Emunand. After that I go to check system settings to see if it say Emu but by doing so I am forced back to Sysnand even though I choose Type 2. I dont know if it is coldbooted or not.

This is because you have Menuhax on Emunand. Remove it from there. Easiest way is to install yellows8 homebrew cia launcher and enter HBL from Emunand with that, then uninstall Menuhax.

It will solve your only problem, which is menuhax on emunand.

You install the homebrew launcher cia, you start it from emunand, you are in homebrew launcher, you go to menuhax manager and you remove it.

image.jpeg Hi guys. I'm using the old 3DSXL and tried to install the home brewer and I get this error. I tried doing all the stuff I need to copy over to the folders and initializing data in the browser and set the time and date to 1/1/2000 and 0:00. I've also attached my current file setups on my SD card. It's a 16GB card. I just need to know how to move forward. My version is 10.7.0-32U. Thanks in advance.

You can not do this on 10.7, you need to downgrade first.

I did all that but it still sent me to sysnand. I went to emu, open fbi, installed the hbl.cia, went to it, deleted menuhax, went back to home menu without reboot which sends me to the emu home menu but a message saying an error has occurred Please save your data in any software currently in use, and then restart the system . I turned off my 3ds but when I turn it on, it goes to sysnand and not emunand. The 3ds is in sleep mode atm in Emu
