I've been out of the Wii U homebrew loop since mid-2017 so I missed the gamepad support revolution.

I want to get Nintendont working with the gamepad but as the files have been removed from this tutorial, does anyone have a link to a tutorial on doing that bit myself.

I just want to know why everyone on the internet pulled every and any kind of link to a fowarder and act like some kind of sick cult when some one asks about it.

I finally managed to get Super Mario Sunshine up and running with Pro controller, but only through USBloaderGX on the vWii menu.

I mean, I get it. The pulled links are ones that contained copyrighted code. I just wish the links had been replaced with actual instructions on how to assemble the forwarder.

Y'know, for those of us who happen to have access to the bits they're not allowed to link to.

I don't understand the copyright bit at all, tbh and I don't have access to a PC so even if I knew how, I'd be sol. But is this implying someone cannot make a fowarder without copyrighted code so it can be shared.

Most of Wii U's setup is an annoying mess already without coming into a brick wall just because you where not around when the scene was more active.

Wrong place to be asking that but, Launch Snes9x RA, turn on the Pro Controller, go to Settings>Input>Input User 1 Binds and change User 1 Device Index to Wii U Pro Controller.

Also advise you to turn on All Users Control Menu.

So I was dumb, the thing you said worked, I just was not navigating to that menu, I accidentally clicked right and ended up in right section to do it. I just wasnt seeing things at top of screen like settings. It is cutoff on screen but still there. Anyway, thankyou for help. Cheers

I think Yabause can use Overclock but still not many games working for it. Overclocking itself won't necessarily make an emulator great on it's own it takes someone going in and emulating each game. The project was abandoned like 8 years ago so it's most likely a lost cause.

Best bet for Saturn emulation is SSF on Pc. I've been using it for years.

(REMOVED, make your own Homebrew Channel inject with the Wii VC inject script. I can't help since its considered copyright)

This tutorial is out of date and confusing wrt Gamecube games. As someone who recently hacked their Wii U, here's how I think you should do it:

1) Install Nintendon't on your Wii U SD card by following the directions on Nintendont's github page.

2) If you want individual game injects that you can install to your USB Drive, use this tool. Use a WUP installer to install the files it creates.

3) If you instead want a forwarder to take you to the Nintendont main menu to choose games (that have to be on the SD card in this case) google for the Wii U USB helper. Install it, and search for "nintendont." It will download a forwarder for you. Install it with a WUP installer like usual.

Done.
