Trying to setup a scene to render in blender
Dont know what to do with these trees, i think this is the correct texture and i guessing there is a shader ingame to overlay the gradient. Anyone know what i can do with the blender materials to get it look better?
What is that these trees need to look right

the trees are done messing around with the uv channels. The shader is a bit hard to accomplish. Thanks to demothene I got them working in Unity but I needed to do a custom shader

is there anything i can do in blender to get a simple effect?
im not too experienced with material editing in general
Im actually a ue4 user, if you guys are unity users your probably not going to be able to help me with doing a shader for the tree in ue4

could you explain what needs to be done shader wise for the tree so i can pass this on to a mate who knows alot about shaders he can help me if i can tell him what needs to be done

I made the tree shader with Shader Amplify which is a node based editor (like blueprints). You just need to use the mask for opacity and the gradient as albedo. That’s it, but messing with the UV channels

I'm having trouble exporting Celebi's model. In some versions of Ohana the wings are not connected, and others have them connected but messed up. I guess it can be fixed in blender but I don't know much about modeling there.

It is due visibility animations (like pidgey when flying). You need to separate them in blender or 3ds max and link them to the animations. Ohana nor spica support exporting the visibility animations :/

I think it's just a problem with the rotation of the right wing, since the left one works correctly with every animation. I've tried rotating it in blender in pose mode but I think I'm doing something wrong since it goes back to its position once I play the animation.

I see everyone suggesting SPICA but it doesn't seem to allow importing the textures or animations so I'm A little lost with that one would anyone mind explaining?
    Thanks for the help!

Afaik, you can only export the resources, not packing back to binaries (with ohana and spica)

you need to do it by yourself (by shaders)

Okay a little further down the line I will look at your shaders tutorial and go from there :D
Thanks! Here's another brain teaser for you.. Just checked out Onix seems like his skeleton doesn't port well with his body in Ohana3ds and isn't auto fixed in blender. Is that what I'm seeing here? If so can you recommend anyone with good blender tutorials on this kind of thing? I'll look for myself soon I'm just really swamped and picked up this hobby at a really dumb time xD... Need to get back to finishing up my degree lol:teach:

You just need to change the UV offset in the material. That’s it. Hmmm, no idea. Try using Spica instead of Ohana

Oh wow that was fast haha yea, I was still confused when I asked you about Spica earlier. It only allows you to import the models but It doesn't look like you can export them in SMD or any format. I'll figure it out this afternoon! Thanks for all your help though!
