Homebrew Turning wii u region free

I have been trying to turn my wii u region free and i had some problems. I tried to follow this guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/regionhax-how-to-get-regionfree-on-wiiu.448468/. Im pretty sure i used red nand when i was hacking my wii u, but when i go to CFW rednand doesn't open, i just go back to the wii u menu.

Use haxchi or mocha and you will then be region free.

LOL ty very much, i had no idea i didn't need to do anything else.

CBHC alone didn't do it for me - I had to do the region mod to be able to play imported discs.

Don't bother with RedNAND. Just install Coldboot Haxchi and you'll be able to follow that guide without a problem. You'll just need the WUPServer fw.img file which you'll have to boot with CBHC at boot time.

At the very least, this will make your Wii U permanently region-free regardless of custom firmware/sighax.
