Hey, I'm trying to update BootMii, but I can't find how.. I downloaded the most recent version containing these files

* README.txt This file
* README-HBC.txt The Homebrew Channel README file
* README-BootMii.txt BootMii README file
* boot.elf HackMii Installer binary
* bootmini.elf HackMii Installer binary, MINI version
* wiiload/ USBGecko / TCP loader client
* win32/wiiload.exe Precompiled binary for Windows
* lin32/wiiload Precompiled binary for Linux (x86)
* osx/wiiload Precompiled binary for Mac OS X (Universal)
* wiiload.tgz Source code

and the readme says this

If you have previously installed BootMii as boot2, you can also use the SD
browser of the BootMii shell to launch the MINI version - use the bootmini.elf
binary in this case.

(if I recall boot2 is when it boots up (which mine does) and installed as IOS means from the HBC (which mine isn't)). So basically, my question is how do I do this? The SD browser doesn't seem to see the bootmini.elf (I've got it in the root of my SD card). What am I doing wrong?

edit: I'm currently using bootmii v1.1 and am trying to install public beta 6

thanks, that's helpful. But I'm still curious as to why I can't do it via the bootmini.elf?

also, where do I find priiloader to update that? right now I've got "priiloader v0.4(beta v3)"
or should I not update to .5? Just curious 'cause I can't boot directly to the HBC with the version I've got now.

you can...just put the bootmii folder/files on the SD card and replace the ppcboot.elf with bootmini.elf....at least i think that's how it goes...someone correct me if i'm wrong....(i've never done it this way; i've always done it through hbc as described above)....

priiloader v0.5 has been removed from the site due to a wii bricking bug in the installer (actually a HBC bug).....some people managed to grab it while it was live for the few days until it was discovered (myself included)...i think the only thing it adds is a direct link to HBC....i think with all prior versions you had to load HBC through a forwarder....or select "Launch Title" and locate HBC and press A. HBC opens...

the version you have is likely the best you'll get until a beta v6 is released (i think it's in the works now)....
