Homebrew Trying to play pkm Neo Y with HANS

ok, please tell me if I did something wrong
when I downloaded the RomHack it already came up with the RomFS decrypted folder

So I used the RomFS Builder, opened the romfs folder and save to a file named "00055E00.romfs"
opened this file with HxD and deleted every value between 00000000 to 0000FFF0

save it results on a 105.292KB file, put 00055E00.romfs in /hans/ on SD card, boot up hans chose YES to Romfs -> SD and OK

but all I got is a freeze black screen with a line buggy that appears before boot a game with hans

You need the full RomFS from your game. Use braindump to get it. Then extract it. Then overwrite the files from the hack dowoad over the original game romfs. Then build the romfs and do the rest.

Neo Y don't came with a custom code.bin so if we just don't mark YES to code -> SD in HANS it will be fine, I think

I havent tried without it, all i know is that tried without at first, and it wasn't working. Then i tried with the code.bin and it wasn't working, then I figured out my mistake and it was working with both romfs and code.bin

You /did/ put them in sd:/hans/ right? My mistake was that I was putting them in sd:/3ds/hans/ and I was getting the same error as you were getting.

yeah, I put in sd:/hans/ but just the hack romfs without overwrite the original one before
I'm making the new romfs right now, if it work without the code.bin I tell here

What did you do with the File in Hans? is it a .CIA file? I'm trying to play a hack ROM game

Oh okay I have a cartiage game too And I want to test this ROM hack out but problem is its a .CIA file and I don't know how to make it into a romsfs

i can't get it to work i dumped a rom.fs extracted it and dragged the a from the neo folder into my rom.fs folder rebuilt the rom.fs then deleted the hex it tells you to but it black screens with a line on the side

did you extracted romfs from a .cia file? try to download the extracted romfs that I mention
and I presume you used braindump right?

The code.bin isn't needed at all. As long as you have the romfs
