Hello,

I am currently trying to install homebrew on my n3ds using firmware 9.9.0.26E using the following guide
https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-1-(Homebrew)

However whenever i try to install MenuHax i get the following error
netnis1q9

http://postimg.org/image/netnis1q9/

This is not my first time installing menuhax, i successfully installed menuhax on an o3ds with firmware 9.5.0E

I also tried this redddit post guide but with no luck
https://www.reddit.com/r/3dshacks/comments/3uk979/menuhax_no_longer_booting/

Thanks in advance
Anthony

EDIT:
Seems the screenshot wont upload. See error messgae below:

Before you launched the menuhax installer, did you turn the wifi on? If no, try to turn the wifi on and try again

-Edit-

If this won't work, go on home menu to the theme selection and choose the default white theme. Then try to install menu hax again

Hi @Justin20020

I can confirm that Wifi is enabled, and i have tried setting the theme to defualt.
I have also tried uninsstalling menuhax (But there is nothing to uninstall)
I have also tried removing the menuhax of the SD card and re-adding it which also did not work

WHat i find odd is i was able to install it on my o3ds just the other day using the same method

Different models/firmwares require different payloads, and the error looks like it's occurring on the download portion, so it makes sense it may fail on your current system while having worked on another different model/firmware system a few days ago.

It may just be an issue with the 9.9.0-26E payload. That particular error number looks familiar from when I was working on something in CIAngel, if I remember right in my case it was caused by not being able to get the size of a file over HTTP.

I don't believe it's an issue with your wifi, as the payload URL is fetched separately from the URL that is failing in your case.

Hmm it is really something with the internet connection. I turned the wifi off and I got the error code "0xd8a0a046"

The error Code from the OP is "0xd8a0a028"

-edit-

If you didn't try the latest build of menuhax, you should try this https://github.com/yellows8/3ds_homemenuhax/releases

I Can confirm i am on the latest version of MenuHax. v2.2 as per the release page

Were you able to resolve this / use a work around?

Strange - it can't seem to connect to the server. Can you try a different WiFi connection?

Unfourtanly i only have the 1 wifi connection, which i can confirm is enable

Thanks for everyones help and input so far

My case was a little different as a developer of the app that was having an issue (And it was while I was developing a new feature), I just didn't do the size check on the action that was having an issue :)

Hopefully someone can help you out though. I'd say try again in a bit and see if maybe it was just a hiccup with the site.

Yes i am using browserhax

I also tried to downgrade menuhax to v2.1 but that was no good either.

Is there a way to manually get the payload? without having to download it?

Good call, I should have checked for that.

Download this (Using the pre-redirect URL to show it's the New3DS, 9.9.0-26 EUR payload):
http://smea.mtheall.com/get_ropbin_payload.php?version=NEW-9-9-0-26-EUR

Rename the resulting file to "menuhaxmanager_input_payload.bin" (Without the quotes), and put it on the root of your SD card. Sorry I didn't think of that! :)
