Hacking Trying to get working Eternal Darkness since 2007...

Hello, i'm asking for help wth Eternal Darkness, because i'm not able to load it anyway.

I have a dayone PAL Wii with:

• Original MIOS or DIOS MIOS installed (for test with backup disc with wiikey or USB LOading)
• A dms drive
• Wiikey v1 with firmware 1.9s
• Usb Loader GX Rev 1256
• Nintendont r 3.373
• USB FAT 32 hard Drive with the "game" folder for the Gc Games
• Syscheck report under spoiler

With Wiikey and the disc backup the game freezes at the Edgar Allan Poe screen with "Impossible to read the game disc. Read the instruction booklet for further informations"

With Nintendont, used alone or with USB loader GX the game freezes at the Edgar Allan Poe screen, but without the reading error.

It is the same using DIOS MIOS.

Please help me, this is driving me crazy.

I can play it just fine with Nintendont. If you can hear the Poe quote while you get a black screen you just have to press A, there's a "60Hz" prompt at the start of some games. You can also try forcing progressive, testing different video modes, etc.

If it's definitely freezing I don't know what it could be. Have you installed d2x-cios?

Day one pal Wii uh?, you're lucky, if the game is still reporting problems with your USB, you could use the Disc Feature from Nintendont, where you just simply burn the iso in a virgin DVD, and put that thing on the Wii, and since your Wii is from that era, I think it can read DVD's without any kind of problems.

GCM Fixer might say it's ok but have you compared your ISO checksum against Redump's database to ensure it's a perfect 1:1 copy? If it's not an exact match then it's more than likely that's your problem.
