Hacking Trying to decide which memory card to buy.

I'll most likely get a Kingston microSD 2gb model number sd-c02g off ebay... but I noticed that Sandisk has 4gb cards out called SD HD or something... do you think the EZflash will take those cuz I'd rather get the 4gb instead... I could use the space :]

I'm pretty sure that only the CycloDS Evo can use MicroSDHC (4gb and more), so you'll have to buy the sd-c02g

Erm, you can use 4gb cards with the EZFlash. I was using a 4gb, til I stuck it in my phone instead.

4GB MicroSD?

The only 4GB MicroSD Cards I've seen are MicroSD HC.

Why would you want an EZ-V? They aren't really that good...

There are some 4 gig carts that break spec, not sure where to find any though.

As for SDHC only the cycloDS and I think n-card support it at present.

There was an update the other day for some cards that added SDHC

I read that the EZ-V was a great card... that's why I got one

The biggest complaint is the save list: annoying to update but does offer certain advantages that most people don't understand.

Other then that R4 fan boyz for some reason feel threatened any time anyone else prefers or purchases a competing product.

Wait till you've tried it before you start worrying about what the nay-sayers have to say. I think you'll find that the EZV is a great card.

Yeah I've had no problems with it.... the save list pretty much stays updated too... I've updated it once and probably won't until some games I'm interested in come out (Sonic and Megaman).

I chose an EZ flash over the R4 and i don't see what the big deal is, the save list isn't that annoying to deal with. Also, the ability to support slower cards with the hybrid is a big plus imo.

I would definitely agree, it's the fanboyz that say the EZV is not a good card. its a GREAT card, and the most recent version of software (1.6) eliminates the need for a savelist altogether, making the R4 obsolete in my eyes. You pay the same amount for a bundle which includes 2 cards (slot 1 and slot 2 3-in-1 expansion) for the same price as the R4.. WHY? lol.

I try out all the new games when they come out (most of them anyway) and have not had ONE single game that won't run on my card.


But anyway, i digress.. i really do want to know if anyone knows if the EZV supports HC cards? i see there's a 6gb microSD HC card.. i'd love to get a 4gb or 6gb.. guess i'll have to settle for the 2gb if it doesnt support HC cards.

if anyone can confirm they've used an HC card with the EZV , i'd appreciate it.
