i used waninkoko's 4.0 upgrader which didn't fully upgrade all of the ios's. so when i put a disk in the wii, it asks for an update. i don't want to update, as i'll lose the ability to install wiiware, but would still like to boot off directly from the disk channel. is there a way to do this?

install preloader 0.29

create a new text document and find the hacks for your region HERE, copy and paste them into the text docyment and save it as hacks.ini, then move it to the root of your SD card.

get to the preloader menu and enable skip update check.
