Come to think of it, Trump has GWB's stupidity combined with Reagan's dementia. Really is the "ideal" Republican candidate.
Don't forget the criminal element of Nixon and Hoover's fixation with tariffs

Oh shit, Kamala's gaining momentum in PA. 538 has her polling above Trump now.
270 is calling that same margin a tie

Depends how you average polls

Bottom line is it's a coin flip which is right, no one has any clue

Again, gonna be hard to switch to entirely new perspectives when I was told to be against them for my entire life, it ain’t that simple
You could see it like that. However... Republicans have shifted their perspectives a lot in the last ten years. They used to not care about race, ideas in books or transgenders. They used to talk about morals and family values. To an extend, they still do, but it's paired with leading people(not just trump) that completely lack those values. Former Republicans now disgust what it has become. So let me ask you:

Should you change your perspective because people around you demand it?

Voting isn't all about defending everything whatever your political party wants, but signaling which party best represents the direction you want the country to go. This is a personal thing, and being told to be against a party for no reason than to be against a party/in favor of a party isn't correct. As a belgian, i've voted for three different parties in my... 6-8 times voting. It's easier here because the contrast's not as big, but the point remains: YOU pick who to vote for. Not me, not your people around you, not gbatemp. It's not about polls, crowd sizes or endorsements: it's about what you want for your country.

The flipside: you'll be responsible for what you vote for. Everyone will.

The fact this is so tight really makes me feel like the US is stupider than before. Trump was awful from 2016 to 2020 and he was still able to form complete sentences. Nowadays, he’s even more detached from reality. I know his cult has always been detached but how can anyone watch him and think, “yup, this was our best option! No one else would have been more qualified”
Republicans, what happened to you?

His views were slightly promising when he ran as president in 2016 and I grew quite skeptical, that is, until the sweet white lies began to slip through the cracks quite quickly, making everyone despise him for the man he truly is. Did anybody think to themselves beforehand that it was a good idea to vote for him?

Working retail at that time, I can confidently say that not many of them thought

"You already know Donald Trump. He is unfit to lead. Watch him. Listen to those who know him best. He tried to subvert an election and remains a threat to democracy. He helped overturn Roe, with terrible consequences. Mr. Trump’s corruption and lawlessness go beyond elections: It’s his whole ethos. He lies without limit. If he’s re-elected, the G.O.P. won’t restrain him. Mr. Trump will use the government to go after opponents. He will pursue a cruel policy of mass deportations. He will wreak havoc on the poor, the middle class and employers. Another Trump term will damage the climate, shatter alliances and strengthen autocrats. Americans should demand better. Vote."

I don't know about that. Each link is an original article that they've done over the years. And to put them all together like this the day of the election can be pretty powerful.
Too complicated for certain.
the name calling in here helped me decide who i was going to vote for. watching people spew hatred the last couple days really set in for me who to vote for.
Absolutely, if you've watched closely then you'll vote democrat. If you're posing and trying simply to engage in ragebait...
Privileged, mother fucker like what?
First of all, calm your MAGAt tits, I don't care if you're drunk again. Secondly, yes, privileged. Because you're clearly comfortable and satisfied, since you're not looking for change or a difference.
Please don't choose your vote based on internet message boards.
Please don't give attention seekers importance.
