Yes it's always been a thing, the last president is hard proof that it's a mistake. Nearly every day he said and/or did something else that was controversial. The current president has been keeping a much more appropriate profile and has been getting more stuff done despite the regressive stuff from his predidesor. Even the fact that the former president started an insurrection by itself is enough evidence that he was the wrong pick.

The courts shouldn't be stripping rights from people and allowing the ex president to do anything with impunity. The courts shouldn't be taking much needed aid from people either. The courts are for enforcing the law, not creating or gutting them. They should be impartial and need better checks on their power so this level of abuse can't happen again.

It's simple to show how flawed the electoral college is by taking the population distribution to the extreme.

Out of the 330 million people, if 300 million lived in a single state, and the remaining 30 million were spread out across the remaining states, the 30 million would have control over the 300 million. Yes, that single state would have more electoral votes based on their population, it would still be horribly underrepresented.

The founders hoped the population would be spread equally across the states, but unfortunately, people don't work like that. Nobody wakes up and says "I should move to South Dakota!".

Does he even know how to conduct a proper interview? It is hilarious that exTwitter couldn't handle the load from that. Considering Elon's history of being unhinged (comedy is allowed, cisgender/weird are considered slurs/ etc), constantly lying though his teeth (FSD next year forever, Mars in a few years forever, better than rail semis, etc.) it wouldn't be a good idea for the VP to go and get "interviewed" by him.

The "stolen valor" bit is the right's way of saying they have no clue about what's going on, when such stolen valor is when you leave when there is notice of deployment. There was no notice of deployment at that time.
